Ingredients & Quantities6 oz SR flour 2 oz butter 2 oz sugar 2 lb apples MethodMix the flour and sugar together and rub in the butter. Put the thinly sliced apples with 2 tbls water in a greased dish and sprinkle with an additional tbsp of sugar. Spread the crumble mixture of the top of the apples and bake at 375F/190C for 30 minutes or until the crumble browns. Variations:- Apple and blackberries, Peaches, Rhubard, Plums, Nectarines, Pears.
